Life isn't about finding yourself . . .

Life is about creating yourself . . .
finding time for family
and play
and work
and sport
and love
and creating . . .setting up goals and making time for a bit of everything.

This past week I participated in "A Week in the Life" project inspired by Ali Edwards . I recorded a little bit of our everyday life and will be sharing it with you. Tonight I am just doing a bit of planning and layout design so I can dive right in to creating my album. So excited!

But, before I can do that I wanted to share a few of my projects from last week featuring new releases from Two Peas in a Bucket

the first is a project using the new kit "poised" by Vinnie Pearce. I just love everything she creates.

and Kerry Stewart is creating some fabulous sports products. I know I will be using these "sport overlays" again and again.

Digital Challenge

are you up for a Digital Challenge - due by Wednesday....as part of the Digital Creative Team at Two Peas in a Bucket we take turns posting digital challenges...you can find all the details on my two peas blog . . . here

Catching up after a busy week

it seems the second week of the month is the busiest around my house, township meeting and all the prep, track practice and the first meet, Will's monthly meeting for work. I will always find time for photography and scrapbooking, because it really is a part of who I am everyday.

I was a bit thankful that we had a small release at Two Peas in a Bucket this past week. I can hardly resist to committing to a zillion projects and frankly I am darn tired.

Playoff hockey started as well - and needless to say a Eastern time zone team has no business playing in the West...games that don't end until well after midnight aren't helping me catch up with sleep at all. Wings really need to win tomorrow, although I don't feel as emotionally attached this year - they have had a rough season with so many injuries that just being in the playoffs makes me happy.

okay - on to my creative share this week . . . new kits by Kerry Stewart, Vinnie Pearce and Wilna Furstenberg got me pretty excited. They are all so fabulous.

The first layout is using "Track Team" by Kerry Stewart - Hayden just had his first meet last week - can't wait to get more photos.

I love this kit by Wilna Furstenberg "rain" digital kit - such gorgeous colors and hand drawn elements

after the rain

the last layout features punch digital papers and elements by Vinnie Pearce. I muted them a bit to work better with my photo and layout theme.

hope

have a great week - tomorrow is Tuesday already!!

Creative Share

I love that Digital Scrapbooking is my creative outlet..each evening, after Madison has gone to bed I am able to sit down and create. Sometimes for just a bit and sometimes I can't stop myself. Who needs sleep when you are creating : )

this past week at Two Peas in a Bucket we had some fabulous new releases. I was chose to be inspired and work with "live laugh love Digital kit" and "Distressed Photo Masks" by Vinnie Pearce and "Mixed Tape Digital kit" by Brandy Buffington. I hope they inspired you as well.

Creative share . . .

a few more layouts to share from this past week. Stacy Marks, Michelle Underwood and Vinnie Pearce all had new kit releases at Two Peas in a Bucket this past week. I couldn't pick a favorite, loved them all.

first is my sweet nephew Ethan using Vinnie Pearce's "1000 Miles Digital paper set and elements"

baby bum

Next, my niece Jasmine. She recently had her ice show and I loved her costume. Waiting to take to the ice, we wrote her name on the chalk board. This layout features new items from Michelle Underwood's digital kit "It's the Little Things"

little things

and finally, "birds, blooms and bikes digital kit" by Stacy Marks for Marks Paper Company. When Madison was younger she had a fabulous 3 wheel bike to use each summer. We really miss that bike.

Have a great week.

Coffee Cup Album - Love

when I saw the new release by Wilna Frustenberg - Coffee Cup Album Love - at Two Peas in a Bucket I knew that it would be one of the assignments I chose this week. So fun to play with a bit of paper and create this "hybrid" mini album
