BasicGrey Creative Share

for this month's assignment we were asked to create a layout based on this Canvas Art found in the BasicGrey store.  I love how we all took something different from the piece to create our layouts. You can find them on the BasicGrey blog

here is my layout.  We always take a photo of Madison's backpack on the First Day of School.  I love this retro design and the teal goes perfectly with the canvas.

BasicGrey and some Dare Flair . .

Recently I participated in one of the challenges that  The Digi Dares post on a weekly basis.  I was added to the Creative Team in July of this year.   We were challenged to create a layout using a Mondrian Painting as our design composition.

DARE FLAIR:
In addition to a Mondrian design composition your layout should also include -
1.  1 circle photo in a square or 3 circle photos arranged in a rectangle.  You may use additional photos any way you like.
2.  One of your photo must be black and white.
3.  Journaling in one of the squares or rectangles.
4.  Your journaling text must use a sans serif font
5.  Your title text must use a serif font, but you can mix and match fonts and alphas.

and here is my Layout:

Digital Scrapbooking Day Blog Hop Freebie

Welcome to the Design House Digital Decorators blog hop! A couple of weeks ago I was honored to have been selected to be a Decorator at Design House Digital.  Now I get to create using some fabulous kits with the talented designers at DHD and be with such a great group of ladies who created pages for you as well on an everyday basis!

For this blog hop, the Decorators have made a quick page (in both 12x12 and 8.5x11 sizes… no discrimination here!) from the DHD Designers’ Digital Scrapbooking Day kit. So, hop around to all the blogs, collect the goodies along the way, and you’ll have some fabulous pages! Perfect to add into your own albums, or for a theme book of its’ own.

Here is the full kit:

Here’s my contribution:
